How to Convert Images to PDF (JPG, PNG, Photos)
Turn photos, screenshots and scans into one tidy PDF, with advice on page size, order and keeping the file small.
Whether it is a stack of phone photos of a contract or a set of screenshots for a report, converting images to a single PDF makes them easier to send and print.
The quick way
Open JPG to PDF, add your images, arrange them and press Create PDF. Each image becomes one page, in the order shown.
Choosing page size
- Same size as image: no borders, ideal for screenshots and scans.
- A4 or US Letter: pictures are scaled to fit inside a standard page, which is better for printing.
Getting good results from photos
- Shoot in even light and avoid shadows from your hand or phone.
- Hold the camera directly above the page so edges stay straight.
- Crop each photo to the page edges before converting; empty table around the page just adds file size.
Keeping the file size sensible
Phone photos are often 3 to 8 MB each, so ten of them make a heavy PDF. If you need to email the result, run it through Compress PDF afterwards. Resizing photos to about 1600 pixels on the long side before converting also helps.
Formats
JPG and PNG are embedded directly. Other formats your browser understands, such as WebP, are converted automatically. HEIC photos from some phones may not open in every browser; change the camera setting to "Most Compatible" or export them as JPG first.
