Edit a PPTX file online

Open an existing PowerPoint file, change what you need and download it again. Everything happens in your browser.

Open a PPTX file

How it works

  1. Choose a .pptx file or drag it onto the page.
  2. Click text to edit, drag shapes and images, and reorder slides.
  3. Download the edited .pptx.

What you get

Reads text, images and shapes

Slide text, pictures, basic shapes, backgrounds and notes are imported.

Reorder and duplicate

Drag slides in the sidebar, or duplicate and delete them.

Private

Files are processed in your browser.

What to expect from an imported deck

Text boxes, pictures and simple shapes keep their positions and sizes. Slide backgrounds and speaker notes are kept.

Charts, tables, SmartArt, grouped objects, embedded media and custom animations are not editable here. The importer tells you which slides contained items it could not carry over, so you can check them.

Check before you send

Open the downloaded file once. Because layouts and fonts differ between apps, slides with many layered objects may look slightly different.

Limitations

We would rather you know before you start. These are the things this tool does not do or may not preserve:

  • Tables, charts, SmartArt, grouped shapes, video and audio are not preserved.
  • Slide master and layout editing are not available.
  • Animations from the original file are dropped.
