Delete pages from a PDF

Click the pages you want to remove, or type a range such as 2, 5-8, and download the PDF without them. Thumbnails make it easy to spot blank pages and cover sheets.

How to delete PDF Pages in 3 steps

  1. Choose your PDF and wait for the thumbnails to appear.
  2. Click the pages to delete, or type them in the field.
  3. Press Delete pages and download the shortened PDF.

Typical uses

Remove the blank page a scanner added at the end, drop a fax cover sheet, or take out pages containing personal details before sharing a document.

Deleting a page removes it from the new file only. Your original is not changed.

A note on sensitive information

Removing a page is a reliable way to remove its content from the file. Hiding text under a black box is not, because the text can still be inside the PDF. Delete the whole page when something must not be shared.

Private by design

Delete PDF Pages runs as code inside your browser tab. The file you choose is read from your device and the result is built on your device, so it is not sent to our servers or anyone else's. You can confirm this by watching the Network tab in your browser's developer tools while you use the tool.

Frequently asked questions

Can I undo a deletion?

Your original file is untouched, so you can always start again from it.

Can I delete every page?

No. At least one page must remain.
