How to rotate PDF in 3 steps
- Choose your PDF.
- Select the angle and, optionally, which pages to rotate.
- Press Rotate PDF and download.
Rotating only some pages
Leave the pages field empty to rotate everything. To fix just a few pages, type them as a list such as 2, 5-7. This is useful when a scanner fed a few sheets the wrong way round.
Why rotate in the file instead of the viewer?
Turning a page in a PDF viewer is temporary and is forgotten when you close it. This tool changes the page rotation stored in the file, so it displays correctly everywhere, including when printed or uploaded.
Private by design
Rotate PDF runs as code inside your browser tab. The file you choose is read from your device and the result is built on your device, so it is not sent to our servers or anyone else's. You can confirm this by watching the Network tab in your browser's developer tools while you use the tool.

Which direction is 90 degrees?
Clockwise. Use 270 for a quarter turn counter-clockwise.
Does rotating lose quality?
No. Only the rotation flag changes; page content is untouched.
